First, the guy we were all anxious, crazy excited to see, the man himself...

Arafat del Punto!
(and hey guys, I've had the camera a week now, be easy on me I know I stink at taking pictures)

This horse, seriously, these next couple pictures look at his intensity, and after the win, how interested he still is in letting everyone know he's the "big deal"

Ok, I have no idea who this guy is but he was pretty and provided me practice with the burst function on my new camera.

Here's one of Arafat going down the board

This is one of the horses I loved at Spectrum, and even more here. Torrente de Katrina.
I loved him ALOT...and Paso Alex made it possible for me to meet his owner and trainer, and I even got to pet him, I'm even more in love.

Here we are (Please look only at the horse and his owner)

Nice pics, that first stud is quite the man!

When you do close ups try putting your camera on macro mode. The icon for macro is a flower, it looks like a tulip. Then stand 2 feet (or more) away from the object, but you should be able to zoom in pretty close. When you have framed your shot, gently push the shutter button halfway down till the camera has a chance to focus, then push the shutter the remainer of the way down. You should be able to do nice close ups w/o the blur.
