Wintec Isabell - Love it.
I have heard that the Wintec Endurance models have a bit of a strange stirrup placement. Check out the ridecamp archives. Lots of people have talked about that saddle on there.

sandy, i think the wintec pro endurance is a really nice saddle. my experience, it is very comfortable for the horse and the rider, lightweight, yet durable. i think you should try it.

I know alot of people love the pro endurance saddles, but I really didn't like mine. I bought a new one a few years ago and it wasn't comfortable to me. The seat was too large and flat. They only come in one seat size. I am used to deep seated dressage or all purpose saddles. I also was concerned about the longer length fitting short backed pasos. I felt like the stirrups pushed my lower legs forward and kept me out of balance. But it is probably worth it to try one, as everybody is different. A couple weekends ago I sat in a Big Horn Gaited Saddle and it was comfy. I also tried the endurance modle and it was comfy too.

I had this saddle, and it was very comfortable. Hwever, I had leg placement problems too -- I didn't know that, but my riding instructor was always having to remind me to get my legs under me. It was hard to do with the stirrup placement on that saddle. Since a dressage saddle is an "appropriate" Paso saddle, I decided to sell the endurance. When the right wintec dressage comes along, I will buy that.
I hope this doesn't sound all negative. It was one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever sat in, and it sold me on Wintec.
One thing, if you get one, I would get the leathers instead of webbers.

I had one. It was a beautiful saddle, but it caused my extremely well-gaited horse to TROT. Fortunately, I only used it a couple times and was able to sell it for not much loss (to an arab rider).
Bottom line for me, I liked it, my horse didn't.

I have one too, and a Wintec dressage saddle. I love the dressage saddle and will probably sell the Endurance saddle. I am probably too small for it. It is a 17" with a wide tree saddle, I bought it new. I've only used maybe 2 dozen times on Baby. The seat is fairly flat, there is too much space in it for me. You do ride farther back then with the dressage saddle.
I was just thinking, I'm up to 10 saddles, probably time to sell one. LOL

Carol U,
You have made my day with your 10 saddles! I am DOWN to five saddles! I feel much better about my crowded tack room now.

Yeah, my tack room is a spreading disaster, and I even keep the Peruvian saddle in the living room as 'decoration'....LOL
I figured out that I'm a tack-aholic when I was cleaning and organizing last spring and found out I had over 30 sets of reins! YIKES!!! (and yes, I've ordered another rein from Sandy! LOL) I'm not EVEN going to try to count saddle blankets!
Oh well, I'm pretty well set for retirenment. I don't need anything and it'll take me years to wear all this stuff out!

I feel better knowing there are other tackaholics out there. Let's see what we have. . . ..
2 abetta synthetic endurance saddles
1 leather McClellan
1 leather American brand endurance saddle
2 cheap vut really comfy dressage saddles (casa dosa)
1 all purpose English saddle
1 Big horn synthetic western saddle
1 fabtron synthetic western saddle
1 James Saddlery leather REAL aussie saddle
1 Orthoflex Aussie wannabe saddle
1 cheap leather western saddle
1 old kids leather western saddle
1 Cashel soft saddle
What do we ride in??? The two westerns, the two aussies and the two Abettas. We use the dressage for English show classes and the allpupose on Brandy for her rehab since it's light but secure and fits her well.
