Get ready for more snow Ruth. I was watching the news and this next storm is meeting up with a buddy from the south and you guys are all in for it! They're calling for FEET in northern Maine.

It's 13 here right now. Just getting dressed to go feed. I think I hate putting on 3 layers of clothes MORE then I hate winter. YUK

I don't mind the snow...it's the ice that makes us nuts. Makes riding impossible. The next storm coming through is supposed to start with snow and end with freezing rain :(

The boys will hate being confined to their tiny shavings covered paddock again, but at least we've found something that works with the ice.

I am hoping that it doesn't turn to freezing rain or rain of any kind, That will end up as ICE!!!!! I would rather have 2 feet of snow. We can plow that. The nieghbors kids are out on their snow mobiles now making paths!!!!! Ride??? Anyone wanna follow the snow mobiles?

The horses played all day long here. I had one person all me up and tell me my horses have been acting like puppies all day. They love the snow. Ice is a different matter. Rio must have fell down 3 times on the same ice spot yesterday. The others managed to avoid the spot - Not Rio. Rio was blessed with many gifts (beauty, sweetness, lovely gait) but brains aren't among them.

Love you pictures!!! I tried taking some of my guys, but when they saw the camera they stopped playing and just looked at me. Oh well.
