What will he be doing at this clinic? I have purchased his video a few months ago, but I have not started any of the exercises yet on my mare. My mare is very consistent in her gaits, but I bought his video so my mare would gait from the hind legs than on the forehand. Can anyone tell me if this would work for her? Thanks for the information.

Hi Guys Larry is a whole different level. He does recommend to start with another NH program that fits your style. I have 3 high bred wonderful Paso Finos. One that is Columbian trained by Gustavo Molina he is out of Silver Bullet and etc... Larry wants me to bring him instead of my 4yr old because of her tention span. He thinks that Disparo would be a wonderful challenge. I have his videos also. NH and Larrys program has made a difference with my Paso Finos. I lope, trot and walk, corto, largo. I am so excited. The mountains in TN also have help nothing like hill therapy. Larry is such a nice man. There is plenty of audit spaces for anyone interested. Just contact Andrea on her website Wellbourn Quarterhorses

I attended several of his clinics at the Arizona Horse Festival, bought his videos and am signed up for a 2-day clinic in Colorado next summer. I do Parelli, so he fits right in with what I'm doing. I was quite impressed.

I think the reason her recommends you do another NH program first is that his focus is on improving gait, rather then doing all the ground work and basics. He'd rather you come to his clinic with horses ready to work on gait then deal with all the issues horses typically have with their owners.

Carol I bet you had a blast with Larry. Everyone seems to enjoy it. I have to NH programs that I follow. I they have done wonders for my 3 kids. My 2 gait wonderfully and my 3rd one has about 25-30 rides. We are doing great. Training on the trail. Ground work is perfect just transfering everything to saddle. I have a question for you Carol I was told that we could not complete L2 with a gaited horse is that true?

I grew up with Quarter horses in Ohio did the circuit then 30 yrs later fell in love with the Paso Fino. They have such character and peronality.

I know the Paso Fino has heart because when I go up to South Fork in Tn every year my Paso Fino can do anything any other horse up there can do. And is alot smoother. What a ride

My husband and I have attended a Larry Whitesell clinic and we also have his tapes and dvds. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with a gaited horse. You won't be disappointed.
