If APF were to form a band.....
What kind would it be
And who would be what member of the band/staff?

I just thought we should have some fun this afternoon with everyone's answers.

That is the point...what would YOU name us? What kind of music do YOU think we'd play? ;)

I hadn't thought about comparing us to modern bands, but that is kinda cool too.

I would think something FUN. In between all the $#%^ , we have a lot of fun here and people make a lot of friends. Not sure what kind of band plays FUN music now, but the Beach Boys used to.

Maybe we're like a High School Marching Band. Not always in harmony, not always in step, but always trying.

After this past week I'm thinking one of those bands that was popular about 10 years ago, where the music had no harmony, and the people all dressed funny;)

In all honesty I think it would be a country rock mix, Charlie Daniels type. Kind of biker ish. We do fight & fuss amongst ourselves, but don't anyone dare critisize our choice of horses, then we band together to make them regret it.

That is actually a very hard question.

I just cliked on Kerry's link, that s the type I was talking about at first.

Maybe something like the time Aretha Franklin sang opera with some famous I think Italian symphony orchestra. Only I'd add Kiss singing accompaniment slightly off key. As an encore they'd do Night on Bald Mountain and Danse Macabre with Aretha "scat singing" the melody line and the Dixie chicks as guest solosists on violin, tympany and natalie conducting while Gene Simmons sticks his tongue out at the audience.

Just out of curiosity how many musicians do we have on here? Believe it or not in high school and college I actually played the oboe with the local symphony and soloed with them once also. Luckily the stage lights were so bright I couldn't see the audience or I probably would have fainted from fright.

Well you all heard me sing the Moon song. You decide if I'm Carnegie Hall material.

WE could be called the 'Happy Steppers' and be a harmony band !

I do not play an intrument but I was in a band a few years ago called 'Appaloosa', have played with some famous people in European bands like the Scorpions and met Jimmy Hendirx last girlfriend (Monika Dannemann) not long before she died, I knew her then boyfriend (Uli Jon Roth of the Scorpions - he's a super lovely guy !). I have sung for the Queen of England (that's my not many people know that about me 'thing' !).......but I do get scared of singing in front of others.

Well finogirl somehow I think most of us would get nervous having to sing for the Queen of England! WOW You and CarolU will definitely have to do a duet to my oboe accompaniment  We'll have Lori conduct.
