Day 13 still miserable

Had my surgery on Thursday, The surgeon said that all went well, but I feel like I took ten steps back. Had horrible pain, headache on Wednesday, threw up so much I had to go to the ER for repeat CT, morphine, and rehydration. Now I am swollen and numb, but have electric shocks going through my face with every sniff or cough.Haven't left the house for 2 weeks except to go to doctors. Needless to say the holiday decorations aren't up or the shopping done. HO HO HO

Carol, I'm totally heartbroken for you. I have been in the ER before with those headaches and know they are miserable (although mine was up the back of my head and not my face). I wish there was something I could do to make it all better or heal faster for you.

Hang in there! I know it's hard to believe this, but it WILL get better!!!

Hang in there, and get better wishes as soon as possible go out to you. Sounds like a time maybe to delegate a "shopper" and a "holiday decorations person" so you won't be worrying about those things to do if it matters.

That is the PITS! Sounds like the swelling is causing some pressure on some nerves. I guess you're icing it?? Ice is a miracle cure. Hope you get well very soon. Are they giving you any steroids to reduce the inflammation? Hang in there and please keep us posted on your progress. We care!

I think the phrase you are looking for is 'butter wouldn't melt in his mouth' !!!....he looks really sweet.
