Yep, it's all your fault. You couldn't stand that us Florida folks were already freezing at 50 but still able to get a good trail ride in. Nope, it wasn't good enough for you that we had to put on our longjohns (anything below 70 is sweatshirt weather, below 60 calls for the longjohns).

Nooooo, you had to wish that FREEZING cold weather on us. Yep, it dipped into the 20s here last night. My windshield was frozen over this morning. And we don't have snow scrapers here. Picture short fat lady trying to reach up and scrap the 4-wheel drive truck windows with a PANCAKE flipper. Noooo, it was not nice of you Carol to wish that cold weather on us. Now take it back :mad2:

A pancake flipper? Oh..that's TOOOOOO funny!

Now don't feel bad, many years ago I had car where the heater didn't work. I drove down the road with a pancake flipper on the INSIDE, scraping the ice off so I could see. My sister-in-law was with me once while we were scrapping the inside. She looked around the parking lot (after bowling) and said, "See how lucky we are? All those other people are outside in the cold scrapping ice off their car! We get to be inside!"

Great picture though Sally.

It was 24 here this morning, which is nice, considering the Sherriff came to the door at 6:15 about loose horses. Scared the beejesus right out of me. I checked and they weren't mine, then called all my neighbor's and had to walk down to Boothe's to check their's (they aren't home).

It was 18 when I woke up this morning! That's just WRONG! Especially when it was 70 degrees not even two days ago!

Sally, you are too funny.... we were cold buy fortunately we are high, so no frost on the windshields, but being from Ohio another lifetime ago, I remember how miserable that is.
Rikki
pancake flippers indeed, LOL

Moonrize - Amazon of the Ice Spatula!!!

It was 18 at my house, 10 about 5 miles away. Had to use large crowbar to break the horse's ice. Must have misplaced my fingers somewhere.....will let you know when I find the end of my nose.

Michelle, it hasn't been 70 here since before Thanksgiving and won't be again until the end of March or into April. We will hopefully see the 50's frequently though.

The weatherman forecast 4 storms between now and Christmas, two of them major. So I was wondering if Sally would come help me? I'll even let you use a real snow shovel!!!

I found this video for you Sally, to put things in perspective. It reminds me of Penny's bad morning! LOL

I'll just take all this heat and swamp where mosquitos are the state bird over that snow and ice any day :v: But if someone is feeling particularly sorry for my pancake flipper which is now rather mangled, feel free to send me a long handled windshield scraper. They don't sell those down her. Or better yet, I have a spare room, come stay the winter with me and be my winter do-girl ;) Gotta be better than where you are!
