Terry, thanks for the gorgeous Christmas card. That pony is TOO cute!
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tonya and I used to work at the PFHA, where I made some GREAT friends! (That introduction sounded like an AA meeting)...

Nice to see all of you!!!
Carol, do you still have that beautiful RED stallion?
Deb, you left Plant City and moved to TN?????? Dang! I didn't know that!
Yes, I am still horseless and loving it. Several clients which live far away haul their horses to Hubby's blacksmith shop, which is at our house. So... I still get to kiss and smell horses. I just don't have to do the work!
I really don't miss them at all!

HEY "Harley TT" Woman!!!!!!:v:
Great of you to stop by!
THANKS for that nice Christmas card... I sent you one but it left late!
Got any awesome farrier challenges to show us?
Your old "pal" CJ M. got himself a "new position".....

Terry!
What's CJ's new position???!!!
Will have a new farrier challenge to share in a couple of weeks. Clint will be working with Dr. Ric Redden on January 7th. Dr. Redden will "derotate" a laminitic horse as well as sever the deep flexor tendons on both front legs, which Clint will do the follow-up care for.
I still have that dang horse leg in my freezer! He swears he's going to thaw and dissect it one day but every time I pull steaks out to thaw, I have to see that thing.

Hi Dana! Long time no hear from!
I woke up one day and said, "I'm tired of taking care of horses. I want to sell them." Hubby didn't believe me until they were gone. I gave the old cutting horse away and the other two sold within one week.
All the money I spent showing that halter yearling and winning nothing, the guy who bought him from me won the NC State Futurity with him! :mecry:
The man was nice enough to mail me the trophy, though. So, I do have SOMETHING to show for it.
I'm not saying that I'll never own another horse but or right now, it sure is nice not having to take care of one.
