Hello All,
Some of you have already gone onto my website: dzignsbydeshawna.com, and viewed some of my work. I've been asked over and over if I would ever consider putting some of my line drawings onto T-shirts. I did this once before and had a few dozen made for the "Paso Fiesta" group. They were a big hit with the group.
What I'd like to know is, would anyone out there be interested in T-shirts if I were to start making them available? I already have a vendor nearby that could produce them on qulaity material for a reasonable price. I currently have two Paso Fino designs, two Arabian designs, a Unicorn, and a Dragon design that I could put into production in the near future.
I will try to get the above mentioned illustrations scanned and attach as thumbnails later on tonight, or by tomorrow evening. In the meantime, any input would be appracited. And if there is a pencil drawing currently on my website that you think would make a good pen line drawing for a T-shirt design, let me know.

Yes, I like to wear Paso Fino 'art'. Make sure that they say Paso Fino on them, and you might look at something beyond T-shirts and maybe getting some embroidered. I know I'd pay more for a quality shirt or sweater with an embroidery of a Paso Fino on it.

Yes, I've thought of embriodery too.
I'm picky about what I wear, and I haven't seen too many designs on T-shirts that really catch my eye. Especially when it comes to portraying the fire and spirit that the Paso Fino breed is known for. You know, that "inner spirit" that radiates from the inside out. I've got a bunch of ideas in my head that I haven't put to paper yet. If there is enough interest and positive feed back, I'll go ahead and put some of these ideas into production.
I've also thought of prints, note cards, and stationery too.

I wear them too, but am pretty picky about the horse. Since I also draw, I usually just do my own if I can't find any I like. But that said, I have several I have bought and would buy more, especially a nice embroidery paso!

I understand you Linda. I admire your resin sculptures. I'd still love to get my hands on an El Vuelo but know they are hard to find. I do, however, have one of the Breyer Peruvian Pasos that I repainted and haired. I'll need to get a photo of him to you so you can add it to your gallery page.

Have you ever checked out cafepress.com? It is a VERY cool way to put your art on "stuff" - t-shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs, buttons, etc. It is very easy to do, and you can set up a "store" really cheap, or free. Try it! I made a Paso Fino shirt for my self there. You can just put your own design on one shirt, or make it so ANYONE could buy your design. I love it.

Count me in, Mystic. Your art has so much "inner fire" I hardly dare to upload it for fear of exploding the computer!!!

I'd LOVE some truely artistic PF wearables! I'm having a Paso lunch today, and will ask the other ladies if they'd be interested....

Thank you.
I'm going to go ahead with the T-shirts, but it will be a little while before I have the money to have the first run made. As those sell I'll have more made. I'm going to put the designs available up on my website (which will be going back under construction soon). I'm going to keep the prices reasonable, say $8-$12 for Youth sizes, and $10-$18 for Adult sizes. Will have to see what kind of price break I get for having several dozen at a time made.
