Took this video this week and where we are at in his training. I'm hitting trails with him and he is getting better. After a nice long ride yesterday he still had tons of leftover energy like the energizer bunny. I plan on hitting trails as much as I can in the next month and then see where we are.

It's a long video (over 11 min) but a bit of everything with him. Just wish he didn't have his shaggy winter coat, but it is winter LOL

COOL Jenn. For some reason it got stuck at 4:59 and wouldn't play beyond. But what I saw up to then was really nice. You guys are doing a GREAT job with him!!!

Very nice boy. He's doing well. By the way, those mountains in the background sure look like the back side of the Spring Mountains just west of Las Vegas, NV. Where do you live?

Thanks Carol, we are really trying to do well by him. :)

BINGO! You got it! We are 45 min west of Vegas in Pahrump. We see the south side of Mt. Charleston. How did you know?

Ed and I lived in North Las Vegas 1997-2000. We rode extensively at Red Rock Canyon, Lovell Canyon, Kyle and Lee Canyons, at Cold Creek and around Lake Meade, a couple of times near Jean and also in Moapa. We actually took a pass through the Spring Mts over to your side once. We also visited the Vineyards near you and saw the infamous "Chicken Ranch". Have you ever run into a Chickie Lamoreaux?
She and her husband had Pasos. As did a guy named Carlos Duran. We were it for Pasos in the area at that time.

I know 4 people with Pasos. 1 is Jim Hannah (a recent member on APF), a local lady selling her mare, a friend who had 2 and sold one to a friend. No one else that I know of. Wish there were more, especially since the house next door is for sale.

Wish you guys were still here. Only had 1 trail ride with Pasos since I have been here. :mecry:

You guys sure have come a long way. How does it feel when you look back at how things were when you first got him? You should be proud. :v:

Lori, he is such a different horse. He gets better and better and better. It's been a learning experience for sure. Just glad we didn't mess him up too badly for newbies ;) The ugly duckling horse that came. Just wish he and Troy could have bonded. After a year, still nothing.
