Hello , dont know if this has been posted before but ASPCA Miami seems to always have Pasos for adoption..web site is ..Helpthehorses.com.. I got my beautifull boy from there..I would like to post his pic but I cant seem to do it...

You can put your photo on photobucket.com and link to it or download it to this website. The directions for doing so are in the directions section. We'd LOVE to see him!

Or you can load directly from your computer!
Go to advanced, look for the little paper clip on the line where it says fonts, sizes, A, :), paperclip.
click on the paperclip and another box will come up that says manage attachments. There, you will see where it says Upload File form your Computer. Hit browse, find your photo on your harddrive, click on it, when the name populates the box, click upload. That's it!

I checked out that website and man, they have some nice pasos on there. That group of paso finos that they rescued was pathetic but they say they will recover. I'm betting some of those young ones will be stunted though.
I LOVED that red dun gelding...gosh, he was pretty!! The only problem with the rescues is so many of them have such stringent rules...I realize that they don't want the animal to fall into the same situation again, but it would be nice if some reputable horse owners could take and rehabilitate those horses for resale to good homes. I'd be more than willing to do that...but I can't take them with the idea of never getting rid of them. :(

Well, they dont want you to sell or give away ...you have to give back if you cannot keep any longer...but if you find another apropriate home they might let you transfer? if the other people are approved...dont know for sure ... but selling is not permitted...

He is GORGEOUS! Is he as sweet as he looks? Do you know anything of his past and how he ended up in rescue?
I tried to adopt a horse from them a few years ago. They said that if no one from FL applied, they would 'consider' me. I never heard back from them.

He is very sweet..not a mean bone in his body...he was confiscated along with a bunch of others ..I think due to neglect.... I cant believe how smart he is...way different than th QHs and TBs I am used too...makes them look dumb as a box of rocks...no offense to them I still own a QH and love him to death ...but as as far as intelligence goes ..no comparison..dont know if its just him or Pasos in general..as far as SPCA goes it depends on their stuation I think as far as if they will let one go out of state...maybe with vet /farrier/refs etc and pics of your other horses/farm they might let one be adopted out of state...who knows ..but It wouldnt hurt to ask I guess
