Paso Elegante performance

Saturday, Feb. 2nd, Paso Elegante performed for a Hospice children's bereavement camp. These are all children who had lost a parent or close loved one in the past year and were in need of grief counseling. We were told that this year the stories of the children's losses were more trajic than ever before. Children's parents had been murdered, committed suicide, and these acts had been witnessed by the children. The performance was held at the Hospice of Marion County headquarters in Ocala, Fl. All the members felt that it was our smallest (number wise) performance, but it was our most gratifying. After the performance we spent time interacting with the children and let them all pet and love on all our horses. We gave each child a PFHA coloring book. Hi Pauline.....I couldn't spot you in the pictures....which were fantastic, by the way......the only person I recognized was Robin. The horses and riders looked great....very beautiful....and what a wonderful reason for a performance!!! I'm sure the children loved it and the horses looked like they were loving the kids.....so sweet.

the riders were: Jose Torres, Sharon Crouch, Carol Kilburn,Ron Kilburn, Janis Paushter, John Kennedy, Roseann Cook, Diane Martin, Robin Dale, Gigi Palacios, and Pauline Piazza. Our coach is Diego Bravo.
