You know, I actually had almost ALL my snow gone as of yesterday morning. The lake that was my round coral was down to some ice and a few puddles. I was having dreams of getting the trailer down the driveway and finding some dry footing to ride in this weekend.

NOT!!!!

A "fast moving clipper" that wasn't supposed to just dust us decided to stay and visit ALL night, with 30 mph winds. I think we have close to 2 feet in the yard, it's hard to tell, but there is another foot of snow on the deck that we shoveled 10-14" off last night. :mecry: Roads closed, schools closed, kids stranded at schools overnight. Over 100 accidents and twice that many slide offs. The weather man shows it stationary over us, turning counter clockwise and coming across the lake and hitting us again and again and again! Annnnnd, it's not going anywhere until this afternoon now!

So much for getting the trailer out. It's snowed in again. :frown:

This has been a really weird weather - our weather people can't forecast one day out! Yesterday, we were supposed to be dry, sunny and 35 degrees. We ended up with SNOW and it never got over 28. At least our snow only stayed a few hours!!!

Hey, you guys are supposed to be equipped for this kind of weather. I'm in Florida and it was 28 here this morning and ICE all over my truck :mad2: I'm never sure if I need to wear the winter woolies or get out my summer dresses. Blankets on, blankets off....

Ahhhhhhhhhhh - parking lots here have 2 "story" piles of snow ! We have to figure out where to put it all - I don't really mind the snow - it was the below zero and then -35 wind chill that gets me ! We are having a heat wave LOL It is 27 above - feels down right warm out !
We have 3 to 4 ft drifts here !
Just remember - if you had drought last year - this will help the hay ;)

Well we had a tornado watch until about 10pm last night with a lot of rain and wind. It didn't freeze thank goodness. My banana trees are just getting leaves back from the 21 degrees we had about a month ago. It's 68 now and sunny and the wind finally died down. They actually had a tornado touch down in Cocoa Beach on the east coast yesterday with some property damage but no injuries that I've heard of. Weird weather for sure!

I bet in a few years we'll have entire walls that are both TV and computer monitors and you'll be able to directly transmit the view out your window to me so I can sit and look at all your snow and you can look at my pink flamingo, Spanish moss and banana trees.

Motorgypsies, I can sympathize with ya...we are predicted to get our first bad weather of the season tomorrow night.

The really SAD thing with that picture is that those are INSIDE my arena!
