Had over 20 inches of snow the past 10 days - with 6 to 13 coming this Sunday!
Soooooooooo - when we get that we will have the 5th snowiest season - may as well go for broke and see if we can end up at the top of the list ! There comes a time all you can do is carry on and laugh !
Don't know where to put the snow anymore - and I "really" hate the thoughts of when it all melts ! :(
Well, off to the store to stock up again ! :)

We must be in a parallel universe. I don't know how many inches we've had recently, but we are buried. No room for anymore snow. It rained for a while after our last 6 or so inches on Wed so that packed it down some and its warm enough today so there is some melting. We basically had an ice storm after the snow and rain Wed. The trees in the woods are still iced over. We didn't lose power here, but others were not so fortunate. I can't WAIT for mud season. (not)

I hasn't rained - instead - we get dumped on and then we go in the deep freeze - :( So it isn't going anywhere ! sigh

EEWWWWWWWWWW - they changed the forecast - sort of want the old one back :(
Now - rain then freezing rain and 2 to 4 inches of snow ! YUK - that means more ICE!

I feel for both of you. My brother rented a backhoe to move snow over the fence and into his yard. He couldn't put it anywhere else. We still have one sidewalk to dig out and hubby fell skiing yesterday and ended up in the ER. So I get to dig out the sidewalk today. :( On top of 3 hours sleep last night. Phew, think I'll take a nap first.

BTW, we 'officially' got 28", but it's drifted so some places there isn't any and other places a couple feet.

I'm with you Penny...if I could go from snow to dry ground and skip MUD, I'd sure be happy!

WI sure got alot more snow that we did this yr. It just keeps east of us, were lucky.. BUT we get those fridged -'s temps, -45 windchills ect...

I heard SouthEast WI has about 80inches of snow so far! WOW!

Update = EEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I would rather have the snow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be getting freezing rain tonight - then ,about an inch of rain tomorrow , and then is changes back to snow ! 2 to 4 inches ! We are under a flood watch - since rain can't go anyhwere !
Really is going to be a mess - and ICE ! :-( We are hibernating with the generator at the ready - due to ice on the power lines and trees to be expected !

We are supposed to get about a half inch rain tonight - it is about 7 degrees right now and exected to warm up to 35.....right around freezing overnight, then up to 45 tomorrow! Should be an interesting mess tomorrow morning - we are usually a few degrees colder than the forecast. YUK!

Well, this is weird. Usually it is ME who is grousing about the winter weather! Right now I'm looking at more than a week of above freezing temperatures and blue, blue skies. It's quite wonderful.

Sorry to hear of your mess, Monty. I don't mind snow at all. Never have. But RAIN on top of snow and then more snow? Nooooooooo, that's bad news. "EWWWWWW", is right!

And CarolU ... I hope hubby is okay. Skiing accident usually = broken leg. I hope he's okay.

Right now everything is ice with standing water - and foggy !
Driveway is a sheet of ice with water on top :( Should be interesting to get anywhere tomorrow ! Good thing hubby has off due to President's Day tomorrow !
State Patol is telling peole to stay home - if you slide into the ditch - they are not calling tow trucks until tomorrow! They will take people to some place safe !

Getting up to maybe 40 this weekend and then they are saying maybe 6 to 8 inches again Monday night ! :crazy:
