Isn't that an interesting story? It is really amazing how animals make friends sometimes. We used to raise Magpies and they were terrible teases to to the cats and dogs. Interesting how this crow decided to adopt a kitten.

I had 'the meanest dog in the county' Blue Heeler that could move 200 cows herself, adopt a bummer lamb and keep it in her dog house. She'd let us feed it, but she'd wash it, move it around to feed and protect it. It was pretty amazing.

Animals never cease to amaze me.

Our next door neighbor has a standard poodle breeding male. Two days ago he came home and was acting strangely. He wasn't his usual barky jumpy self. In a few minutes he went into the garage and lay down and as my friend watched he opened his mouth and lo and behold out walked a small animal. It looked kind of like a squirrel with no tail. It was a hamster. He cuddled the hamster up against him and it just stayed there. My neighbor went and got an animal cage with a towel, some food and yummies and went over to the dog, picked up the hamster and put it in the cage. The dog was very happy about it and after he saw that the hamster was safe he went outside to play. It had escaped from the house of a family who lived three houses down - a block away from her.

He did the same thing about a month ago with a newborn puppy. It was really dark and the owner thought the tiny yorkie went to the bathroom when she took her out. Well she dropped a puppy instead. The same poodle male found it, cleaned it up and kept it warm until the owner found it the next morning. Unfortunately it didn't make it but it was still alive and warm and clean when she got it from him.

Amazing.
