Birthday Party

Damon made it to his first birthday. That is a big suprise. Yesterday he ate the fuse out of the fence charger. I think his name should be iron gut. There is nothing he has NOT eaten.

Damon was not a happy dog for his birthday. His best friend was not allowed in the house for the carrot cake and he was not a happy dog. All the cats refused to come because he chases them. The small dogs would not attend because he plays to rough. So it was just me the fish and Damon.

Tomorrow we will take some carrot cake and share with his best friend Neon (my problem horse)--which is not any longer a problem other than cribbing. This horse has become very close to the Damon dog. No longer does he flee or take flight away from you but plays and is now interested in things.

I feel so bad for Damon. I am almost in tears as Damon's story is so sad. My only hope is that Damon got to eat his cupcake and is now feeling all better. Hugs to Damon for his birthday.

Damon did enjoy his cake. He even left the candle uneaten, which was a big surprise.
