Argh, don't let them see AppyDays dogs :v: Don't they have some starving animals to worry about over there? A little organic dye won't hurt the dog for heaven's sake.

When I saw the headline, I thought for sure some K-9 dog and turned Shelley in. LOL
People paint horses red-white-and blue! There are web sites that sell dyes for animals! :mad2:
I have to agree, I'm sure there are starving cats and dogs in Colorado that need protection more then this poodle.

I'm not fond of a dyed pooch but she uses organic beet juice. How is that harming the dog? And she did it for a breast cancer thing.
I agree, go out and save some starving animals and leave people like this alone. grrrrrrrr :mad2:

I can kinda see where they'd want to protect the little chicks and bunnies, but 1) actually arresting her was WAY beyond their pervue, and 2) they should have suspended enforcement until provision for perfectly harmless dyeing was made and written into the law. :mad2:
All the times I set up and enjoyed "Paint the Pony" days at summer camps would make me a "lifer" in Levenworth Prison!!!
And what a lovely dye job it was, too! Perfect shade of pink for the pup's complextion....LOL

That is so dumb..I use a vegetable dye too...very safe even in the eyes..you can not use ammonia on the dogs..
