A friend needs a place to stay in Florida

A friend of mine wrote this up and asked me to post this............

My hubby can no longer take the winters here in the great
white north, so I'm looking for some help in locating a
place to rent for the winter. It doesn't have to be fancy,
but not a dump. I need to have my horse with me, hopefully,
and be able to park my trailer there as well. I'd like to be
in the northern half of Florida, within riding distance of a
fairly large trail system, since my rig is over 50' long all
hooked up.
If I can’t find a place with horse-keeping, an apt near walking distance of stuff for hubby and myself, and pasture board for one very pleasant, friendly gelding, where other trail riders board, for company to ride with.

Anyone who can help, or put me in touch with some resources,
would be very much appreciated.

I'd try between Ocala and Tampa. Real estate sales are in the toilet in florida right now so I'd call the major brokers starting with Ocala area to see if any farms are for sale. It's possible that someone would rent them a small part of one just to get some income until the property sells.

In our area there are a lot of boarding bars and gulf front mobiles for rent only a couple of miles away.
