Well I have two....
The first one is my old horse Spanky. He was a bay paso fino. I would ride him for hours or past the time grooming him in his stall. my grandpa gave him to me for Christmas,he had been a pasture/trail horse. So when I went to the 4-h distict show and ended up going to the state(beating a performance horse). That was a big deal! When he went up to the mountains with his former owner(my grandpa) he died . But he is still one of my favorite horses.
The next horse would have to be my current riding horse,Nisha. She's a Gray arabian. And she helped mend my heart after Spanky died. SHe has gone to a few shows with me(Back yard shows right now,she has a bad case of the trailer nerves) but we have taken blue ribbons. I like to ride her bareback up and down the drive way where she stays, also I gallop her up there too. But she has always been there for me and I love her.

I'd like to share my Valentine Horse story, but it will be about my deceased horse, Cochise, an Appy gelding.
He was purchased by my neighbors who were 30 years older than me, when I was in High School. I was given permission to ride Cochise and keep him fit and exercised. I did so for just over a year, riding nearly every day. I dearly wanted to buy Cochise, but not having a car/job and living in the remote country limited my options.
Mr. C. had to have heart bypass (5) surgury all of a sudden, and he and his wife sold their cattle and when they discussed selling Cochise, they both agreed that it would break my heart to lose him...so they gave him to me!
I would continue to ride daily and stop at their house and visit with them to tell them about our rides/adventures. Mr. C. always loved hearing about how good a horse Cochise was. I kept Cochise until he died 18 years later at the age of 29. Mr. C. had passed away some years before Cochise did...and I'm sure they have been riding the cloudy range together since Cochise joined him.
I loved Cochise because he never refused ANYTHING ever asked of him. He had poor conformation but his best qualities were inside. I'm certain he had a heart of gold.

Pitty's been my valentine for over 4 years now :D He's my baby, and I love him to pieces. I rode him for the first time when I was 12, and fell in love, despite his crazy antics. For my 13th birthday my parents bought him for me, and we've been crazy about each other ever since. Pitty and I do just about everything together, from moonlight walks in the woods and fields, to working on Dressage in the arena. I don't always have time to ride, so we hang out together. One of the most special things about Pitty is how he's helped my fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed last year after living with it for almost a year before that. When it first started, Pitty was the only horse I could ride, and on days where I was nearly crippled from the pain, he carried me around to relieve the pressure in my knees. Eventually he helped me figure out that riding bareback is the only way I can stay pain-free, and we have been ever since. Pitty hasn't had a saddle on his back in almost 2 years.
Pitty's got a special heart, unique personality, and is always a favorite. He's my soulmate, and he'll live in my heart forever.

El Czar is the love of my life...that sounds so pathetic...oh well
When I was a kid I would always go into his stall and brush him he never acted like the stallion he really was and love on him. My grandpa would give me rides on him and when I was seven I started to ride him by myself. I was to young to show him. Well when I was old enough to show him I wanted to ride him in amature owner but I wasn't his owner so for my thirteenth birthday my grandpa told me that we would find a way for me to show Czar and we did and now he is half mine...but that doesn't matter anymore because at nationals this year we retired him from the show ring...soi he can be a horse and he loves it!!!!!

Well I have 2. First there's Star. He was born here on our farm when I was 5, and I actully put him under saddle myself!! He was so gentle w/ me even when I was that little, and he taught me so much by learning to train and ride him really well. I rode Star in shows for 2 years and got a 6th at Nat. before I started riding Regala and my little sister rides him now.
Then there's Regala. I got her last Feburary actully from Florida. I rode Star in shows for 2 seasons, but he wasen't compeative enough for the higher level of shows and comptition. So we bought her and I rode her all last show season. I love her sooo much because she's the sweetest horse ever!! I mean she never gets ulgy with you and she will do anything for you ask her to!! We ended up getting 1st in horsemanship at Nat. this year and I'm soooooooooooo proud of her!!!!!! :D :D
There are both ireplaceble horses in my life and I'm sure I'll have them for a very long time.

Well Marinero is almost my Valentine. Got him on the 12th of February so almost 5 years already now !! :D . I love him sooo much there ain't nothing I would do for him. He was soo bad when I got him, skinny and getting colic ALOT. But he survived it all and that's one of the reasons that I love him so much I think too, going thru all that together. Then there's Serano, got him on the 25th of January, known him since I started riding 6 years ago. Great horsess both of them and they're the loves of my life

I think that mine would be Quincallero because my parents purchased him to cheer me up after I had sold my horse Rythm Dance Rhapsody. I had to sell him and my parentss bought me Quincallero. Quincallero is up here in Illinois right now and so he was able to be here for valentines day. I gave him carrots and apples and lots of love on valentines day. Quincallero showed me what a Paso Fino could be like and how special I was to have him. He showed me that he could make me happy by just being himself. I love Quincallero AA, and he loves me tooo.

i have three. first is Power. he was a buckskin trote y galope stallion. i loved him very much and he was an great horse and friend. he had a very big heart. unfortunately he died on 01/10/06. i miss him terribly. second is Dulcinea dos del Ocho. She is a liver chestnut fino mare. She's at Dr. Davilla's Equitransfer facility rite now though. My favorite thing to do is ,after a long day at school, take her out and ride her bareback all over our farm. She is an amazing show horse and a wonderful producer. Third is my colt. Alien, odd name, i know. He is a two yr. old, bay, trote y galope, which we are about to break, i'm very excited about that. he looks a lot like his mom, mimosa. Alien is so cute, he'll even play peek-a-boo with you.
