Here is an article on one of our GPFHA members, Johnny Sharp. To know Johnny is to love him. Please keep Johnny and his family in your prayers. He is an incredible man and the love that he has for his horses has no limits.

I met Johnny Sharp twice in the last two years, each time at the GPFHA Open House / Fun Shows. I remember him as a friendly man who loved his horses and loved making new friends. I attended these fun shows to take pictures of people with their horses and I would track down the riders to snail-mail or email photos to them of them with their horses. When I manage track him down near his horses' stalls, he was getting ready for a class and needed help with his chaps zipper, and I assisted him, while explaining why I wanted his address. He asked if I was a photographer and I replied of a sort. I wasn't a professional, I just liked taking candid pictures of people with their horses and sending them to them so they would have these pictures.
He invited me to go riding with him and his horses.

Johnny B. passed away last week. There will be a memorial for him on April 5th but I don't know time and location.
