Any Paso Fino Farms or Boarding in the DeLand, Florida area?

I don't know about now, but that's where I took my first official riding lessons when I was in college there from an elderly retired cavalry officer. Learned all kinds of cool things including emergency dismount at a canter, no hands cavallettis, bareback jumping.... I also rode at the cafeteria manager's farm out near Casselberry.

We used to ride in the orange groves and 'fern forests' (a huge percentage of the thick ferns put in flower arrangements are grown in that area).

Deland was tiny back then, not that's it's huge now - but it's definitely been growing since I left....

You might check at the feed store(s) in the area for possible places to board - if anybody knows - they would... Good luck!

OK Sandy - when are you going to have a clinic and teach the rest of us these cool moves??? You and Tammy P(trick riding) and CindyG (how to ride a mechanical bull) could put on a fantastic fun clinic!
