I just got my beautiful Frostie calendar!

The only problem is that I'm going to have to start the year over -- I just love the January photo of Frostie making snow angels.

Thanks so much. I'll have to take the calendar down the hill to show Mila . . . . Did I ever tell you how cute she was when the vet came out, the first time, to do her AI? The semen was in a big cooler chest, and when the vet set it down beside her pen, Mila reached through the pipe corral and rested her head on the chest. I wish I'd had my camera with me . . . but I hadn't anticipated wanting to take pictures that day.

By the way, her udder is still underdeveloped, but she's sure starting to look ready in other areas. Vulva very long and soft -- and big indentations behind both hips.

Glad you liked the calendar. That January picture of the snow angels is not Frost it is my ppr filly Cita. That is an adorable photo and I had to use it. She is also the December photo looking out into the snow (kinda looking into next year). The cover page of the Iron Horse Ranch calendar has my other paso mare Star gaiting in the snow with the beautiful mountains as the backdrop. Cale's Helado Oro" is Featured in this calendar and I don;t have any good photos of Frost in the snow....he really doesn't seem to care for snow or the cold weather. He was born and raised in the deep south. I think he perfers the hot Florida sun over the cold and damp of the north. My other horses seem to love the cooler temps.

I do have one decent one of Frost in the snow.....you can;t really tell it is him but I like the effect of the branches in this one......

That is so cute about Mila and the cooler.....we never seem to have the camera for those candid shots! Good luck with Mila! I am praying she is kind to us and delivers either a little early or on time. I bet she will have a very pretty baby!
