I would like to introduce myself to the forum members. My family and I moved to Missouri twelve years ago to a small town just south of St. Louis where I am a physician and my wife manages our farm and homeschooled our three daughters. I fell in love with the paso fino horse when I lived in Puerto Rico for a few years when I was a teenager. As a teen I surprised my parents by showing up to our house with its very small yard with a criollo horse that I had bought for five dollars from an American hippie that was living in the jungles near our home. Since then it was my dream to someday own and raise paso finos and I was able to make that dream come true.

If anyone is ever in our neighborhood please feel welome to call or drop by our farm for a visit

Welcome to the board Dr. Miller and family. I love your stallion Apache; he is really a looker.
Do you know Linda Rader in Missouri and her horse MiriCastana? If you do My horse is a full sibling to Linda's horse.

Thanks for all the welcomes and kind comments about our web site. My wife Roxanne does the web site and she and my 15 y/o daughter are responsible for all the pictures.

Jan K I will pass on your greetings to Nelson. We are extremely happy to have him as our trainer at the farm. He is an incredibly talented trainer as well as a genuine good person.

CarolIU If your husband helps support a horse habbit then he is probably worth more than his weight in gold. Don't leave him for an apartment.

Sporthorse I don't believe I have met Linda Raider but I googled her name. if she is the endurance rider that came up on google she sounds like an interesting person .

Soltera I think Apache our palomino stallion is special too.

Ken Miller

Always welcome at our farm www.molineropasofinos.com

My 15 y/o daughter Krystal loves photography and this one she recently took of one of our colts Revolucion. I think it captures both the beauty and athleticism of the paso fino horse.

For those of you who love palominos here is a video our stallion Apache. He is a very talented intelligent horsee with a great disposition. He has over 50 offspring and passes on his natural gait color and disposition. He produces naturally gaited easy to train pleasure and trail horses. He has not produced peformance type horses even though he himself can be very performance. A couple of years ago one of his offspring was high point specialty horse at nationals.

He is absolutely gorgeous!! If I ever decide to breed my mare again, I will have to look him up. I have a black mare, wonder what color I would get. She was bred to a tri-color pinto paso and her baby came out marked and colored just like her. I would love to get a Pal. or buckskin or grulla.
One other thing, I noticed when he was being ridden under saddle that the back girt was really loose. I saw a horse get his back leg thru the girt once, it wasn't a pretty site, both horse and rider were seriously hurt, so needless to say, I am paranoid abou back girts.

Shame we can't breed him to my colt or gelding....I'd love to have a clone of Apache!!

But what sliding stop? YOur video was wonderful: revealing, showed his true self, I bet, but what sliding stop?!

The sliding stop was a previously posted picture of Revolucion not Apache.

Apache is truely what I like to see representing our breed. I think that I would recommend him to many for breeding Also since trail horses are what 85% of our horses are and he has it all good attitude, temperment, gait, looks I would love to see him out there in all breed venues or sports doing a service to us all. Win -win for all in our breed.Yes, certainly he must make you proud. He travels very easy, full range consistant natural , exciting smooth gait. Loved the halter only ride in cold weather, took very good care of himself & the rider. What dignity and presence in the arena work and board also.

I have a palomino daugher of Apache. She's an amazing horse. Was practically fearless right away with hardly any training, she goes anywhere, is not reactive, she's sane, safe and calm, cool and collected. I call her my little bulldozer. She has a dorsal stripe; I was wondering Dr. Miller (and welcome by the way) if Apache also has a dorsal stripe? If so, do you think he carries the dun gene? I might have to sell her, and it makes my heart ache if it comes to that, I don't really want to- she is such a wonderful horse!
