EZD Falcon Rowdy ("grade" singlefooter) and Coral LaCE (Paso Fino) were two foundation sires of the North American Single-footing Horse Registry. I was a member for a few years and really liked the fast gait of the breed. Though I didn't actually own one they opened up the registry for a while to allow in breeding stock, and geldings, of other gaited breeds and mixed breeding so long as they passed video inspection of gait. They were looking to broaden the gene pool and were allowing horses that possessed a gentle temperament, solid conformation, and a natural gait with ample range (from a slow collected trail gait up to an extended speed gait - speed range from 7mph to 18+mph). Another of their requirements was for the horse to maintain gait with the reins loose, or better yet, dropped to the neck. The Coral LaCE line was a sought after bloodline.
