Great Western has no PFHA shows. Maybe CarolU can comment further... I did not rejoin the region.

Haven't seen any news of any around here. Wonder what the turnout was at Clemson?

Turnout at Clemson was the same as it is every year. There was also a PPR show in SC on that weekend. The Georgia show in Gainesville is next weekend and Asheville is still in June. The Conyers show has moved to Pensicola this year but other than that, same shows as always.

Just FYI, show entries for the first two months of 2008 were up considerably from what they were last year. More than half again as many entires if I remember correctly.

No shows here. When we polled the members only 3 expressed any interest in attending a pointed show. No one wanted to put one on.

There are fun shows, clinics and trail rides planned though. We have a Larry Whitesell clinic the weekend after next. We just had a Jamie Drizin clinic at Judi's. There's an open show with Paso classes tomorrow in Salt Lake.

I believe Northwest has a few Paso classes as part of the Washington State Fair.

Mid-America use to have shows , but the cost of having them got too expensive ,at least that is what I was told . Mainly renting facilities.

It's the Oregon State Fair that has a few pointed classes, I believe. Our club used to share the Gaitway to Heaven show in WA with the Peruvian club, but that show ended completely two years ago. There were quite a few Peruvians and almost no PFs when I attended. But as of this year, the club has a pointed show at the NW Evergreen Gaited Horse Classic (all gaited breeds) in Washington in July. Most folks around here focus on trail riding, so I hope enough people go to make a good showing for Paso Finos. This show typically has a lot of Rockies and Walkers when I've gone in the past.
