Sam I Am's dam "Cleo" was bred to "Peppy" by the breeder (not me) every year for I think 8 foals. The resulting babies were all wonderful, though the one before Sam was killed by dogs unfortunately at only a few weeks old. The breeder passed away last summer, and since we were really good friends and we both admired greatly his stallion, I was able to purchase him, and this last pregnant broodmare from the surviving family. Our diesel truck broke down a few weeks ago (throwing a rod), and I have had to raise money to pay for another one, so Cleo and Sam were for sale. Cleo just sold a few days ago, and she will be missed, but enjoyed by her new owner. If Sam grows up to be anything like his siblings, he will be wonderful!
