According to the report the dogs also attacked deputies when they arrived and they shot 2 of the dogs. The others are to be euthanized.

I am afraid I have to say something about this news story. I know it has been on other BB's and they have been locked because of the posts.

I am going to say something that was not mentioned on the other BB's. I guess I look at this tragic thing a different way. It was mentioned at one point "poor dogs" which actually made me sick to my stomach. Right now I am having a problem with what happened and am sure I will not sleep tonight. All I can think about is that poor seven year old and the trauma both physically and mentally. I keep thinking how it must of felt being ripped apart and bitten by four dogs. How he must of suffered. No child should of gone through that. Sorry I mentioned this but was hoping it might help if I wrote. Guess it is not going to help me any. I am still crying. Life can be so cruel.

Mods please delete if you think you should. Thank you for letting me have my little say.

Thank God the deputy SHOT two of them..... no way is the life of a friggin dog more "valuable" than a seven year old boy.... no way should it even be considered that dogs like that should live....

AND...what about the owners of such dogs? I hope they get their pants sued off.... JMO

It is so sad and tragic that 4 dogs attacked and killed a 7 yo child. My heart goes out to the family and friends in this situation. It is horrible when bad things happen. Life is and can be cruel.

Thank goodness that the dogs have been contained and destroyed.

This case could have been prevented. Why didn't the owners contain their dogs!?!

Off the record, I have 4 dogs. All are contained. One is a PB. I researched her bloodlines and met all members of her extended family. I am in love with her. I do not turn my back on her or trust her to other people. She is my responsibility. Anything she does comes back on me....good or bad.

Why can't other people be like this?

Because, for the most part, PB owners are morons. *spits* I know a person should not generalize, but more often than not one sees the PB owners on TV or in the paper and they are unintelligent, uneducated bottom feeders who make themselves feel important by owning big, bad dogs.

Before you jump all over me, go back and read my second, third, fourth and fifth words.

And I won't even comment on the sub-human things who own PB's for dog fighting.

My heart breaks for that little boy and his parents.
I cannot imagine that little boy's terror.
I cannot imagine what I would do in his mother's position.
I cannot imagine that I would want to continue living.
