OK...I saw this ad:

and wondered if ANYONE has a Paso-a-Paso ringtone. What does it sound like?

First, go to cnet or some place and download a freeware ringtone maker. Some of the newer phones come with software or capabilities to change ordinary mp3s into ringtones (my razr just lets me shorten them and it works).
Then download the song you want using KCEasy (freeware enabling one to pirate music, p0rn, videos, etc.), and convert it yourself. That way, you've spent no money on something that may or may not suck. Google is one's friend, too...
If anyone has the old soundfile of Simbolo's feet from pasobeat of yore, that's a good text-message-tone- a few judges I know could do with memorizing the sound, as they seem to be blind...anyway...
If anyone needs any Latin music, go to ballroomdancers.com and check out their library, you can sample it before you buy or otherwise acquire it. Some of it has been re-done to strict tempo and sounds corny- ok, lots of it does- but if you can find the original, whatever. The Black Eyed Peas version of Mais Que Nada, most Mambos and Merengues work. Several Quicksteps would work, but they're more for ASB ringtones.
I tend to keep my ringtone on something I'm focusing on, which is why I'm beating to death Sinead O'Connor's Why Don't You Do Right, and Secret Garden's version of Nocturne. Before that, it was Johnny's Mambo and Funky Cold Medina (shudder).

Thanks so much Crystal. You're a never ending "fount of knowledge" and we appreciated your sharing. We also have wondered how one gets these interesting ring tones.
