We have had 8"s of rain in 3 days :(
30 counties are under State of Emergency with major flooding all over !
At least we live on top of the hill - but, the poor horses do have high spots to stay in .
Only the 9th and we have had the 3rd highest rain fall for June!

This news report has pics from our immediate area - that horse is several roads from me ! We are in Racine Co.

Well - at least it isn't snow ! LOL - Weatherman just said IF it had been snow ,it would have been something like 80+ inches

I think it's still in California after Evan Almighty was filmed. ;)

THAT is a lot of rain! I feel for you. When the last storm hit us, we got 2" overnight and had flooding. I spent yesterday drying photographs that were in the basement. Some people ended up with 5 feet of water in their house.

It's a powerful storm. Not sure where you cry "Uncle" to, we have another storm due Wednesday.

I wish you could send some of it our way. I fear we are going to have another summer like we did last year.

Ugh, sorry you guys. Just turn on your fans and blow it our way - we're in drought conditions..... Either feast or famine.

We got rain yesterday!! It was great, hoping for more today. It has been so dry here, had to pull the horses off the pastures because all the grass is so dry and dying.

Penny - send some of it to TN! We haven't seen a drop of rain in well over a week, we have a miniscule chance tomorrow thru Friday. AND it's been in the 90's every day. UGH

We are 12" over for the year already. Luckily we are on a hill so no flooding here but the road does wash out a little at the bottom of the hills.

Not even a little bit. The cold front is due to arrive here any time and our temp is supposed to drop 20 degrees...from 75 to 55 with lows tonight in low and mid-40's. I may be safe since I'm close to the lake and it moderates the temperatures. It will freeze at Judi's. I'm covering my tomatoes tonight anyway.

What has happened to our planet? Whether it's us or a natural temp swing, this just gets spookier all the time!

June 10th was my daughter's birthday and all we've had since yesterday is snow/rain/snow. Up where I board my horse it's actually sticking. It started last week and we've not had a day without rain since May 20th. We're off to a natural hotsprings today to try to get over it!!

Fortunately I have an indoor arena to play in, though I typically try to stay of there during the summer.

Temps haven't gotten above 35 yet today--I'd love to be hot right now!
