I was told his name was Senor Muchocho but that was wrong of course.
This is his name given to me today by a past owner. She claims she never bothered getting reg. papers on him but said she was told he is reg.
The PFHA does not have a horse reg. by the spelling that I gave them.

Any comments good and bad on him are welcome. You won't hurt my feelings. He rode a bit troche but had been in a stall for over a week. Ground manners need some improvement but a really nice ride.

He looks underslung in the heels and long in the toe. Might help his gait to get him "fixed"

Aside from his feet...he has a tremendous shoulder, and a nice round motor...(Butt). He's just a bit long, looks to be cowhocked, can't tell for sure, but has toe-out in the rear. Are his front knees offset?
He has a "look" about him.... on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give him a 6. Without actually seeing more "confo" type photos.

His feet are not terrible but over do for trimming.
Terry I schould get some better confo shots this weekend. And I will try to get some video up also. By no means would he be a show horse but sure would look good coming down the trail. And he has a presence about him. Acts like a stallion.

When you take the confo pics....get a pic of his teeth... one of front teeth meeting (closed) and one of bottom teeth surfaces....(open) if possible....
He does look fairly young.... teeth will confirm or deny!

Ok Just talked to a past owner of him. Looks like it is impossible to find papers. The people she bought him from are gone and can not be located and she had to rename him because her spanish is as poor as mine and was relying on the papers to know it which never came.
So thanks for all the help.

Well come on up and see him Joni.. I don't know if I would call it flaxen but it is light colord. It is darker than I thought.

Take a look at this one... a possibility - although listed as a stallion - about the right age and name could have 'migrated' to what the past owner thought she heard...

unlikely, thanks though Muchacho was what the neighbors who led me to him heard the owner call him

I would love to bring him but I don't think I am ready for a crowd with him... although I will have to admit he has been a different horse now that I have him here with my other two. I have been joking that I need to give him a shot of something to get him to move as he is so laid back here!!!! I have to stay after him to get him to keep moving!!!
I would have never guess that watching him at the other barn!!!
What time is the parade? I might have to try to get the kids over there. Todd will be out of town this weekend but I would love to come see everyone riding!!!

Got some really nice bone size. Great attitude. Too bad he is another 'lost' Paso.

He has a weak loin, and looks older than his years. I would still buy him purple halters and poptarts were he mine, though.
I love the way that neck pops right up out of the deep/wide chest/shoulders, and makes a pretty head with smart ears.

Holly the parade starts at 5 pm. The kids could carry the banner and help the Grinch. And we probably will have extra horses for you and the hubby.

Boyd it's me Kim . He looks flaxen in the picture. How tall is he ? How far is Loganvile from Albany ?
Boyd R

i'm sorry kim. I thought that was joni. So Joni what is your handle?
Kim we are about an hour and a half to two hours north of Perry It seems like 3 and a half from Albany. You need to see Maggie to she is such a doll and poor Eileen has lost all cofidence in riding. She is going to take some classes on learning how to fall. She was leading Maggie across the yard last week and Maggie fell flat on her face. So Eileen and I are pretty confident that her clumsyness will be an issue for her. Eileens bones just aren't that of a 20 year old any more.
Boyd,
Why don't you email some good face shots to Mary Emmons and ask her to compare them to the paso Sandy mentioned? If they look similar, you might be able to DNA him and see if it's really him. You do know the PFHA will issue papers if you get a stableman's lien on him. He is a pretty boy!

Boyd, what is the other horse you got besides this one?
Boyd R
11-29-2005, 01:08 PM
Marelyn, for the merket I sell to papers are no big deal. I would have been willing to pay a few memberships to get him registered but to do much more than that is just counterpoductive. He is a really nice trail horse and for a good price.
Barbara not sure what you mean. I also picked up the horse Baily was trying to go look at. Noche. The owner can't handle him and needed help selling him.

Gotcha, for some reason, I thought it was the same horse, then I went back and saw the pics again.

See, Noche just will not leave me alone. After finding him in the IWANNA and calling and posting about him months ago someone then brought him up again. Then Boyd gets contacted about him, now he is here again. So, what do you say to that? :-? Do I need to start putting some more money aside or what? ;-)

El Muneco
Ok this is really getting fishy smelling. Either someone is real strange or loves to play the deception game.
I have a strong feeling that this horse has been stolen. Possibly through a sale gone bad. And I have a suspision that this person is now trying to do it to me. ONLY AN ASSUMPTION
So those of you with knowledge of stolen horse sights if you would check them to see if this horse was stolen it would be greatly appreciated maybe even e-mail horse friends. This is just a precaution. If he was I would love to see him get home.
Specifics that I have been told
1. first known owner was of south american decent and well off. Bought a new 2 horse aluminum trailer to pick him up. never used it again. Sold horse and trailer during divource. Did not send reg. to purchaser. This was at least 1 year ago I don't think much more. This trailer was never licenced. Remember this is not the horses real name.
