I didn't get loads of pix from the show. The lighting was not good so I did the best I could.

Got some pix of the Flag ceremony.
Alex got to carry the Colombian flag.

It was very tedious for her to do these shirts, but they were a big hit.

Had a wonderful time at the show! Great people. It was cold. Lori kept popping into Sandys booth since it was warmer. She makes a great model for a saddle commercial. Lori I will send you the pics I have.

Just got home to .... SNOW on the ground!!! Try driving a trailer with two horses up through a slick, wet, snowy pasture at 2 a.m. in the morning! Greg did and no slithering either! :-) Emi and Katie were happy to get home!

Had a great time at the show - and got enough info and feedback that I may just take a shot at Spectrum and Youth Mundial...... hmmm... :-)

Looks like a great time! Nice to see some familiar faces...and all smiling too.

Marelyn, Alex is growing up too fast. Look at how tall she is now! And what 'looker'...better lock her away from the boys! LOL

Congratulations Alex on those ribbons!

thats awesome, thanks!

Thanks, Carol, Alex is indeed growing up and the green shirt is one of her "Lori" shirts. She thinks Lori is one of the cutest women at the shows and wants to look like her. Now if only I could get her to act like Lori, too.

We enjoyed the show and Sandy's new shirts with the crystals were a BIG hit and were sold out immediately. Now I wonder if she will start doing crystal paso thongs or T-backs

Alex was trying out her new mare that we hadn't seen until the night before the show and her fino gelding had been out in the pasture for the last year and not back in training over a couple of weeks, so was out of shape. Batman had taken a break since Nationals and has put on the pounds, so all her horses will have to go back to the grindstone of training.

nice pics, lori, in spite of the poor lighting. it is dark and dreary in that arena. it is a pretty nice place, but the lights need to be worked on.

Sandy, I love the shirt that is behind Barb's head in the first photo...the red, white & blue one, the mane with the star. I don't see it on your web site. Can you post a picture of the entire design here?

Barb that is my teacup poodle "Hunter"and he is recovering from encephylitis. He was tired a bit and right after that we gave him some meds, food , water and he and Ellis went and took a couple hour nap in the suburban.

Have doctors orders he can't be left alone. But he is greatly improving.

Lori.... The pic BarbC wants to see better i sent you a copy of it closeup. That print looks great on the back of a light denim shirt

Glad you guys like the pix. I actually have more, but since I'm here in Sebring, it's tedious to get them posted b/c of the dial up situation. So maybe by tomorrow night I'll have the rest up.

No fair, I wanna come to Florida and play with you guys.
Hey, what gives with all the heavy coats. Don't dillusion this northerner and tell me it is cold in Ocala Florida!

Pasogirlz
02-15-2006, 01:22 AM
It was cold....at least to us Floridians.

SandyMM
02-15-2006, 01:29 AM
It was cold for _everybody_! Of course, we had our own 'heater' in the booth! :-) I think that
's the real reason Lori hung out with us for a while! :question

And if the temps weren't cold enough for you, the _wind_ made it _really_ nippy!

GregM
02-15-2006, 01:33 AM
It was quite cold, by any standard, in Ocala. We kept cold drinks in our booth inside the show ring...in an open cardboard box, not a cooler. Yikes! It was really cold. Verrrryy chillllyyyy...

Terri
02-15-2006, 02:06 AM
That's the standard for cold in February???? That you don't need a cooler for drinks????

Yeah, but ask us about our standard of hot. * or humid ;-)

No thanks, I can't stand it when it gets above 85.

there is no standard for cold in florida! it can be 75 degrees one day, and 25 the next. i am in northwest florida, 230 miles from ocala, and it was colder in ocala on some days than it was at my house.

anyway, nice pics, lori!

I went to college in Michigan for two years and noone back then had frigs in their dorm rooms but you didn't need one - you just put your food outside the window on the window sill! But not sodas cause they'd burst!

Well, I have to admit that it is kind of wierd to see palm trees and parkas in the same photograph. LOL

We don't put our parkas on unless it is below 25. Warmer then that and a fleece pullover over a turtle neck is plenty warm.

BTW, it's snowing right now, supposed to snow until 11 tonight, and I'm really thinking I won't go to work today either. LOL
