Well, that sure is one fancy chicken coop!

Man I hate to break down on the road. Such a pain!

Glad you made the trip safely. Nice bull. I'm assuming you bought him in Texas...

That I did, and I have met the most wonderful bunch of folks from every walk of life.... each one of them treated Laura and I with sincere friendship. It was even fun watching dear old Bear getting BLESSED by those at the motel.... they wanted to touch him but I convenced them that rubbing a bull was not a safe thing here in the states but feeding him hay through the trailer was a real act of kindness.....
nothing like spoiling him even more....
I have to admit.... it was not a dreaded, terrible thing to have my truck break down. This trip was a wonderful reminder that there are really great folks out there, willing to lend a helping hand, watch out over you, and make sure that even the animals had everything they needed. I even got a free rental car to run around in and go shopping!!! Man what a break from work!
And a huge hug and thanks to those back here in TN that not only double checked those blasted waterers but came every day to make sure nothing was out of wack - offers to drive 45 mins one way to put out hay (they did not need it and they still have loads of it out there)... Grain dealers offering to deliever more feed (still have a feedroom full) - those that not only checked on the critters but those that watched out for my other 3 kids (hubby included in that!!) :D
This trip was full of laughter and good times with old and new friends and family....
Glad I don't have one of those ticker things on the bottom of my handle - it would have gone up in poundage instead of down this time....
And I'll have to share one more fun time with you when I get it uploaded.... just remind me to show you the wigs my sister and I tried on!! The head dress looks the best!
Well, I'm off to feed the bunnies and then in to dress a loom.....
ah, what fun I can have when the sun goes down!
;-)
