Well, I'm Sending It In

Well, I'm sendng in Pitty's certificate for a transfer of ownership this week. I have been putting it off for several years (I know, go ahead and laugh). At first I didn't think to transfer it, and then I just put it off. **sigh** Hope it will make it there all right. I'm sending it return receipt. I was kinda wondering if I should send some sort of note with it so they know what to do with it. Is that necessary? Seems like just sending the certificate in would be weird...as if I expected them to know what to do with it. Probably a silly Q, but I'm asking it nonetheless. This is my first time doing this. I'm kinda excited! :yay

Just call PFHA and ask for Mary in registration. She has always been very helpful and it helps to have a 'heads up' so she'll be looking for your transfer.

I understand how that is. I have been meaning to get mine in frames but never have. Your post got me to thinking about where mine are :shock: after my move it seems that nothing is as organized here. Congratulations on getting them in.

Main reason I did the paper work when I got Monty was to make sure "I" was the owner - didn't trust the DUDE I got him from! He hadn't transfered the reg - so had the "former" owner listed on the papers to sign - So everyone recognizes ME as his owner !

Monty - same situation with Pitty. The people I bought him from had never transferred him into their names, so he still has his first recorded owner listed. But not for long ;-)
