Tropical Storm EPSILON

This is amazing. Even though we are in no way going to feel the impact of this storm I can not believe it. Why is this happening?

According to a hurricane expert/climatologist they just interviewed on MSNBC (about 10 minutes ago), it's a normal hurricane cycle - about 10-30 years of bad hurricanes, and then 10-30 years of very mild seasons. They said the bad cycle started in 1995, and that we should expect several years of bad hurricane seasons before it lets up.

I could give you my smart *** answer, but I'll just leave that to the imagination of those who know me best...
