Facebook put this test online to find the personality of your horse, AND what to do and NOT do with them. I did both Zar and Rosie...blew me away how accurate it was.

Ya'll have fun with it, and I'll come back and talk about Zar and Rosie.

It described my horses to a T. My mustang is the boss. My paso is mr sensitive....what an accurate gauge. LOL. That was fun.

It really is good, my Mare, Mela, is an Accountant and my older gelding Taceaux is a Rock Star. Don't know enough about my new gelding yet to answer the questions.

Desi is a rock star, Cita is a steady eddy. Cute quiz!

It nailed my guys! I have a Rock Star, a Perfectionist, a Goddess, and a Macho Man (who happens to be a she!). The descriptions fit each of them perfectly. The Rock Star's not a PF though - he's a QP (quarter pony).

Primero is a Worker Bee - made my friend laugh when I told her that was his horseinality. She agreed, he loves doing his work - twenty minutes across country at a fast clip with the racehorses nearly every day - yesterday very keen to show his newly clipped body to girlfriend "No Pleasing" and keeping up very well. The jockeys are always impressed by this "cute little pony".

This was really fun and so strange how it really fits my horses! My Appy is a Pleaser (very sweet and in it for the relationship), Fancy my new ppr mare is a Wall Flower (so sweet and wants to please but can get frustrated when you ask too much of her), Star is The Rock Star.....that fits her perfectly...strong personality with a mind of her own, my other ppr mare Cita is The Goddess...boy are they right about her.....all the horses like her and you can love on her all you want , and then Frosty my stallion is The Macho Man....well enough said!

Hmmm...did I answer the same quiz? It described my mare OK, but not my gelding. But, some questions are hard, esp. the pecking order as usually I have only 2 in the pasture and spread hay or they are grazing. Also checking out new places....we rarely do but they are so mellow how do I know if they like it or not? LOL. I'll try it again after I know my gelding better.

Tequila....The Wild Card

Strong minded but insecure, this personality needs an equally strong rider to help them feel safe. Be loving and affectionate, but don't give up your leadership. Once you have them on your page, they are very friendly and have a strong desire to please. They can be highly competitive and will give you their all. Not a horse for a junior or amateur until much later in life.

DO
Protect them
Repeat lessons often
Be their boss
Honor their energy
Keep a steady training program

DON'T
Overload them
Skip steps in training
Show weakness or fear
Have huge expectations
Jump into new territory

Sounds like my boy to me. :v:

Your horse is a ... DECF - The Rock Star
The Rock Stars are confident and charismatic. They are expressive and strong minded. They love to show you what they know but are hard to get to focus on the small details of the task. They are found in many competitive arenas, usually at the top of their field.

As you might guess, Rosie is "The Goddes" (now this was TOO funny, Rosie is ALWAYS getting on her pedestal!)

The Goddess is loved by most of the other horses and most people. They are expressive and sensitive and emotional. You will know how they feel. They try very hard to please and will worry and be anxious if you are not happy with them. In the negative they can have scattered energy that is hard to get focused. This personality can be loved on as much as you want.

I also did this for Zar. This couldn't be more accurate. She's a Perfectionist

Shy, suspicious, sensitive! Are you a solid, consistent enough rider with low enough expectations to be able to work with this horse? They need a solid, well planned out training program to be able to perform well. They want a job that they can perform perfectly. Each step in the training process needs to be methodical and repeated until they really, really get it. If things get too hard to handle, this horse's evasion is simply to leave - mentally, emotionally, and physically if possible. If they find a job they like and are allowed to learn it slowly and correctly, they will give you an endless amount of effort.

DO
Be a firm fair leader
Allow a lot of exercise
Keep them in a safety box
Use baby steps/safety circles
Provide solid guidelines

DON'T
Be wishy-washy
Fuss over them
Change the program
Skip steps in training
Speed up until solid

Both of mine are Goddess. Well, they are related :D Mother and daughter. So that does not surprise me and it does describe them pretty well. Although Ladybug (mom) is higher of the two as far as pasture stuff.

This is perfect!!!--I did the test for my husband's Tennesee Walker, and he came out to be The Accountant. Now, my husband just happens to be one (accountant)--he is controller of a home manufactering plant. TOO GOOD!!!

Thanks for that. It is pretty intersting on how accurate it was.

My mare came up as the wildcard. It described her to the tee.
