I finally broke down and got a camera phone...Motorola V265. I have read the instructions and gone to the website, and I can't figure out how to download the pictures to my computer! I tried to send them to myself in an email message, but it must be out in cyberspace somewhere...I never recieved it. Anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong? I can't find where this has a USB or anything...or at least it isn't mentioned in the instructions.

I think you have to sigh up for it. I know with mine if you spend anytime one the internet (on the phone) they charge you a fee. For me it is an option. I chose not to use. Good luck with yours. Congradulations on the new phone.

Well, if you know how to send emails or simple files from it, you can "bounce" pics TO your computer... just send them to your email address. :D

Nope, I have no idea how to send files, messages or anything else on this phone. My old one was pretty low tech. I just got it today. Took a picture and figured out ...I thought...how to send it to my email address. It showed that it sent, but I haven't received anything. If I can't get them on the computer, it is pretty useless to me! :-?
Did you get the software and stuff that you need to download the pics. from your phone to your computer? If not and you don't want to pay for the extra service to email pics. just go and get the software. I have a Motorola V222 I just use the software. I don't want to pay the extra to send pics.

Nope. The sales guy was openly un-helpful!
Where would I get the software? Same place as the phone?
I got my software from e-bay. But I would think you should be able to get it where you got your phone. Here is one I found on E-bay.

Well, hopefully the manual is written in ENGLISH- or some semblance of it. It's doubtful, but it might have a how-to, at least for attaching. If not, there are tons of help sites available through google. I had to find one for my phone, which, unfortunately, isn't a camera phone :( Everyone has a camera phone but me! Waaah!

It is written in a semblance of English, with lots and lots of little drawings. None of which have ANYthing to do with sending or attaching photos. I can't even find how to do anything with the ring tones. Geez. So far everything I have learned on the phone has been trial and error punching buttons.
Thanks, Lynn. I am going to look at the auction and see if it will make any sense to me. My model is there.
