2.)Newborns & Foals (less than 12 mos old) Isn't what spring is really about? The shot may or may not include the mare, or may have more than one foal in the photo.

Ok, so I'm computer challenged tonight. That's my photo above. One thing that makes it special is that the crepe myrtle trees are the burial site of Bochica Tres, Sonalita's sire (and Serafina's grandsire). Photo by my hubby, Greg West

We don't have much spring here yet but there was a little green in the background pasture. Alegria is 9 days old here and definitely feeling "springy!"

Okay...I love this picture. It's not mine, but Carol Pitt's mare Tambien and her foal last year. She lost this mare last fall and it broke her heart, such a beloved horse.
This colt had been being SO bad and just wore his mother right on. She finally got tired and laid down anyway. Then he tried being cute.

I don't think so...that arched neck and bent knees tell me he is still thinking about being a stinker!

This is my aunt's mixed breed Brandy. She was a TWH/QH/Appy mix. Bred to a full blood TWH. This is Riyahd, the foal.

PF Wa, this was a contest held last spring, it is over. But please DO post your pictures, just on in this contest thread, since it is over.
Your Paso Fino filly you can post in the Paso Chit Chat section. And your Peruvians should go in the Peruvian Paso Forum. The Andalusian should go in the General Chit Chat Forum (I'm sure everyone will LOVE that one).
To post a picture it must first be loaded somewhere else on the web. If you don't have a web page or album (Yahoo and Webshots do not allow sharing and will not work), you can set up a free account at one of several services. Pethobbyist.com or Photobucket.com are the two most popular. (please size it first so it doesn't distort the web site...8" wide at the widest") Also, make sure there are no symbols like &@#$%?><^*()! in the title of your picture, they will not work.
Then right click on the picture, select "Properties" and copy the URL address (will begin with "http" and end with ".jpg" I think Photobucket gives you the address. Then come to the board and go to the Forum and then New Topic or thread you want to reply to. Then click the button above the text window that says "Img" then right click your mouse and select Paste, then click the "Img" button again. You can then see the code that posts pictures. Make SURE there are no spaces in it.
Then hit Submit and post. It does help to preced your picture with text on what it is we're looking at!
