Do we just post our entries here? If so, here is mine...it is called Pick of the Litter. This is a black Lab puppy born last spring. He was 6-7 weeks old in this picture. He is a nephew to my Jubilee. I love this picture because it captures the integrity and loyalty of a Labrador, which this pup exemplified. You can see the promise of the human/dog relationship in his gaze. He was definitely the pick of an outstanding litter. Everytime I see this picture, I kick myself for not snatching him up!

This is the 11-day-old orphaned litter of kittens I raised two years ago.

I was unable to trap their mother before she gave birth and then she was hit and killed in front of my house when her kittens were only 9 days old. It took me 2 days to find her litter of 5.
I brought them home and a different mother cat (Shadow, pictured nursing them) allowed them to nurse while I would pluck them off one-by-one to bottle feed. Shadow had a litter of 5 that were about 2 weeks older than the orphan litter.
Shadow helped me save their lives. I fostered them until they were ready for adoption and they all got good homes. They were sooo hard to let go!
How's that for cuteness?
