Do I WISH it would snow.....?
HECK NO!
Snow brings frozen water, frosted horses and a very COLD seat on the tractor!! ;-)
(I'll ALWAYS be a New Mexican at heart) ..... the land of very little snow, you know, where you can ride darn near every day of the year.. :D

Me either! NO snow is good snow in my book. Thank God I don't often have to worry about the snow thing, worrying about hurricanes is enough for me

snow, snow, snow, snow!
"they" are saying that our fall/winter is starting just like it did in 1993 when we had the blizzard.
We had 3' of snow in Blairsville, GA that year! Remember that one Starr??? Weren't we stuck for about 2 weeks with no power or showers (pee - yew). At least we had hot meals.

Hey Mel! That website is the perfect place for your artist talent! I know you can make some neat flakes! Mine suck, but it's fun!
And the blizzard... well, we won't even talk about that. That's a secret! SHHHHH!!!!

I love the snow. I better cuz we get 300 inches or so a year, usually a foot or two at a time!! Love the beauty and tranquility of it. Also it covers up all the ugliness of the rainy season...hate rain and mud!!
Of course my love of it has diminished somewhat now that I have my horses at home, but they stay VERY clean in the snow....

Have tank heaters in place - and it can snow - only if I don't have to drive in it ! We can move it to where we want it to thaw and drain ,unlike rain ;-)
Means frozen ground - no mud and easier to get in pen to feed ;-) I use a plastic tobbgan to move the hay around .
AND clean horses :!:
No skeeters or other bugs :D

I would love a few inches especially on Christmas. My son and Oreo, a miniature horse, love to go sleigh riding. And I mean the on the sleigh. Oreo pulls the 2 sleighs up the hill and Oreo and Matthew each get their own sleigh and come sliding down. It is quite a sight.

I sounds like we might get some snow the first of next week and if we do I be happy to take some pictures. Oreo is so funny with the typical mini personality and loves to do anything he can fit into.

Yep, I like snow. It makes the landscape so much prettier than late fall/early winter when everthing is brown and yucky. And, unlike rain, you can plow it out of the way!
Jane doesn't like rain. Nope. Not one bit. She'd rather get her ground moisture through snow! Much tidier.
