THE MILE HIGH CLASSIC AND THE LAS VEGAS GOLD CUP
Did you know that you have the opportunity to attend 2 great Paso Fino Horse Shows “back to back” during July 2006 That’s right, Denver’s Mile High Classic will be held on July 21, 22 and 23, 2006 at Loveland’s Premier Horse Facility “The Ranch”. This promises to be one of the great shows of the year, and the weather is absolutely great at this time. Loveland is known as the “Gateway to the Rockies”. The drive from Loveland to Las Vegas is breathtaking, passing over the Continental Divide in the Rockies to the foreign landscape of Utah. It looks like an ocean bottom.
It is only 780 miles to Las Vegas to the GOLD CUP which will be held at the South Coast Casino Equestrian facility on July 28, 29 and 30, 2006. This is the best show facility in the country.
The California Paso Horse Association has made special arrangements at the South Coast Casino to accommodate horses coming from Denver to arrive as early as Tuesday July 25, and go directly into air conditioned stalls.
There is a special $1500.00 award for the high point winner that competes and completes a riding class at the Mile High Classic and the Las Vegas Paso Fino Gold Cup. The award will possibly grow as we get closer to the show. Prize will be awarded at the Gold Cup Show in Las Vegas. Youth Classes are excluded. This award is sponsored by the Greener Pasture Ranch.
