Pitty now officially has a brother! My mom got her first horse, A TWH gelding named Ebenezer Ichabod "Ebby", and he and Pitty are getting along great. We are SO PSYCHED! She's been riding for years now, and we've been telling her she needs a horse, and now the right one has finally come along. Ebby is a beautiful 13 y/o, 16.2hh TWH, chestnut with a LOOOOOOOOOONG mane and tail. He and my mom are so cute together, even though she's 5'2". Ebby is incredibly sweet-natured, and he lives in a pasture with Pitty. We've had our eyes on him for some time, but now mom has finally gotten attached and decided he's the one. He needs some re-conditioning work, but he has killer conformation and a naturally smooth TRUE running walk.
Ebby and Pitty have been together for a while now, but they know they're brothers. They hang out together all the time (which is hilarious...the tallest and the smallest!) and even get on each others' nerves! Today mom and I were riding together and had stopped to talk, when Pitty grabbed Ebby's rein in his mouth (they were head to head). I asked Pitty to back up and he led Ebby around for a little bit. He's already getting older brother syndrome ;-) Ebby will grab Pitty's tail and chase him around. The best pasrt is that we finally have a horse who can keep up pace with Pitty (and then some)!
Congratulations to my mom! We're lovin' it! Will post pics as soon as I get some good ones.
