Stipulations

Please understand.....do not inquire UNLESS you can say yes to all of the following first:

You are over 21 years
You have experience with Paso Fino's
You have experience with green horses and/or horses with issues
You live within 250 miles of Mouth of Wilson, VA 24363
You would like a VERY SPECIAL Paso Fino

Now - if you answer yes to all of those stated above - we would love to hear from you!

We have 2 very very special Paso Fino's that we are seeking to place in foster homes. We are seeking placement where they each will be loved and cherrished and used for trail riding. The placement must be a PERFECT match to each horse! Horses do not have to be placed in the same home - so if you have an interest in one and not the other that is fine.

#1: Carna Valera ("Karma"), is a 9 y/o, 14.2 hh Black mare. She was professionally started but has had little riding in the past 5 years. Over the past couple of months she has been spending time working with natural horsemanship techniques and being ponied out on trails and doing wonderful! She is very smart and when her routine is continued she should make a great trail horse. Karma has lots of Brio and will require a handler/rider with some experience and patience but when you have that bond/trusting relationship with her she will be your favorite forever! Would match best with a rider under 5'6" and under 175lbs.

#2: Habaneuro - is an 11 y/o Red Chestnut Paso Fino gelding. He stands about 13+hh and is a good trail mount. He could be shown pleasure with some work and fine tuning but is more suited as a trail horse. He has no vices and is rather quiet as Paso's go - he does have spirit and will move out but is in the Pleasure category. He does well riding children with experience so that might be considered for him but we are preferring to place him with a small adult woman. He is used to riding in a bitless bosal/hackamore and treeless saddle or lightweight synthetic but also rides bareback in a halter. He would match best with a rider under 5"4" and under 140 lbs

Seeking long term foster homes or even forever foster homes depending on the match. Both horses are PFHA registered - papers will be held.

Looking forward to hearing from possible homes. THANKS!

I've met Habby - he's a cutie! He was ridden by a 7 y.o. for the last year or so. I've got a horse from this group and they were easy to work with. I hope Habby finds a great home with one of you guys!!

I personally contacted these folks. The felt the chesnut was fimly spoke for. The also tthe bay was pretty well re-home

I think prior to advertising these (any) horses we should contact the owner or rescue to see EXACTLYwhat the situation is.

I'm glad to hear that. I think the mare MAY be a half or full sister to my gelding that I got from there. I was able to get papers on him and I think papers are available on those two as well.

Paula, I always send an email letting them know I'm putting them on my website. I didn't get a response back.
