Beechtree SiluetaLibertad. This mare is not ridable due to injury but has had a couple foals successfuly. This is the barn where I bought both of my horses. When I talked to the owner she was willing to include a free breeding to Stone Gables Vallenato, an El Classico de Plebeyo son. So you might want to ask about that. When I picked up my mare she asked me if I knew of anyone who might be interested so I thought I would put this out there!!

She has problems in her hind end, but I was told it was an injury...but she did not seem the most knoweldgeable person so it would probably have to be checked. I did not ask many questions as I was looking for a riding horse.

Just checked and the mare is 18 years old and looks great for her age other than her suspensories.

I looked at her many years ago, and don't recall an issue then with her legs. She was a broodmare then.
I have seen more then one circumstance where broodmares have been kept in small dirt-packed paddocks, don't get much exercise, and where I could see the stress of added weight by pregnancy on an unconditioned horse could cause excessive strain on the back leg joints over time.
