Did you hear me laugh? LOL I wasn't expecting that! I've never seen a horse do it.

His legs move too fast LOL I took the pics from the video, so that's why some are blurry, but even in the video, the legs are moving fast

The video was hilarious...shows some serious higher level thinking there..."how to get both sides without getting up OR rolling all the way over!"...I don't think I've ever seen a horse do it quite that way before! LOL

Yikes! True, it was the first time I rode him in over a month, and all he got to to in between is run around the roundpen maybe twice a week, all the boys get a turn....definitely out of shape, bigtime! And he's always lazy and bored in the riding ring when in it by himself....either has to have other horses in it, to wake up, or go out on the trails......or cruise the driveway talking to girls! Then, he wakes up bigtime! Rode him today again, FINALLY.....but, there's so many others that need the training he already got.....!!! He hates "vacation" too.....I might sell or lease him, just so he can be "center of attention" again, he really misses that.
Hopefully now that the weather broke, I can finish dividing one of the larger paddocks into smaller ones(with aisles) to the studs can be outside with a shed 24/7, at least the ones not being worked reg at first, and I have less stalls to clean, too! We'll ALL be happier and healthier!

yep...those smart stud hosses get "needy"...

Today, Sultan decided to play with the plastic-pan salt block holder. He grabbed the pan and threw the big salt block out. He proceeded to toss the pan around, and when it landed upside-down, he decided to STEP on it...which broke it, and his hoof went through, and all the sudden he was wearing an 18"x 18" square black plastic "bracelet" on his left front pastern... He proceeded to gait around the pen, pawing the "panned leg" which scared the beejeebers out of Tres, Darius and Dante. So I walked over to him and he came right up to me as if to say "get this OFF me", and thank goodness that thick plastic did not cut him!

Wish I would have grabbed my camera....but I wanted to make sure he did not get cut!
