I clicked on the www link for our newest member "devtonfarm" and was alarmed to see their stallion has been missing for quite some time. Please go to their page and read about it: http://cagrandepasos.info/

Since he's grey, in a year or 2 he could be unrecognizable unless he has scars/tattoo's or brands. Especially to people that don't "know" him.
Nice looking horse.

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES AND QUESTIONS . THE STALLION, GIOCO DE CA'GRANDE (5TH NATL FINO SCHOOLING CH., '04) WAS TAKEN ILLEGALLY BY THE BUYERS AGENT IN LATE JULY '05. HE LIED TO THE FARM OWNER . A PAYMENT HAD BEEN MADE BUT THE FINAL PAYMENT BOUNCED. CONTRACT IN FORCE STATED THAT IN DEFAULT, HORSE TO BE RETURNED AND PAYMENTS FORFEITED . AGENT REFUSED AND HAS ATTEMPTED TO SELL THE HORSE AND BREEDINGS MOVING THE HORSE TO VARIOUS FARMS IN FLORIDA, AT LAST REPORT.. HE HAS NO LEGAL OWNERSHIP TO DO EITHER . PFHA HAS BLOCKED REGISTRY . IF YOU HAVE BEEN APPROACHED FOR BREEDINGS, DEMAND A DNA CHECK. SEE PHOTOS ON OUR WSEBSITE,
WWW.CAGRANDEPASOS.INFO
A LAWSUIT IS IN EFFECT BUT WE ARE MORE INTERESTED IN GETTING GIOCO BACK HOME . STAY WELL.

Sounds like Teevo (Bob) should do an article in his newspaper - with Wanted poster on the front :!:
That would get the news out all over - especially in the south .

OK, dumb question, why don't you post the name of the agent so we know who we are looking for?

I saw your post on Tony's missing stallion and contacted him telling him you all were concerned. I am glad he decided to post the story on this site. The more paso people that know about it hopefully the faster he will be found.
I bought three paso finos from Marsha S. and if it wasn't for Tony I would not have any of the reg. papers. Or any knowledge of there past. I have alot to thank him for. He is a super paso person.

I agree...the agent AND the buyer since I suppose it was them who didn't supply the money.
Had almost the same thing happen to me and never did get my horse back.

Welcome Tony...and I do hope you get him back okay. I do remember him and Cece at Nationals...a very nice stallion.
I'm really not sure what people do with stollen stallions...it's not like the DNA isn't on file!!!

Most likely they can't post names due to pending litigation.
Well, if you were a horse theif, you could steal the horse, sell it with fake papers, and by the time anyone tried to register the foal, you would be long gone. I'm not sure why more info is not being released on this. I think releasing the name of the person who stole the horse would help in the recovery. I suggested Stolen Horse International to Tony and Devoe, I'm not sure why they haven't used this amazing FREE network.

Netposse WORKS. I hope they will send the info soon.
