I have a chestnut gelding that I will give away to just the right person. This gelding is a Prometido de Selecta grandson, and is triple bred Capuchino. His registered name is Capucho Continental but we call him Chico. His birthdate is 6/01/2003.
This horse is giveaway because he has some issues. Whether those came from training or simply from temperament, I can't really tell. This is most definitely a project horse for none but the most confident and experienced rider who has experience in rehabilitating horses. But something in him tells me that he is worth saving hence why I offer him this way. If the new home does not work out for him, he comes back to me. I don't want him sold and resold again.
All that being said, he wears his little heart on his sleeve, so to speak. He wants so badly to find that one person. He will follow you around like a puppy when he trusts you. He loads in a trailer and after some work, he now accepts the farrier. He vets fairly well. If no one takes him in the next couple of months, I am going to put him with a trainer that is very good with horses like him but then I will sell him to recoup my money.
He himself is not on PasoRegistry.com but his sire is El Testamento Continental, a Prometido son, and his dam is Capuchina Continental, a Capuchino daughter. If you're a member of PFHA, you can view his pedigree in their horse information section.

For more information, you can PM me, or email me at [email protected], or my personal phone number is on my website. Here are some photos of Chico. These photos were taken last fall, when he first came to my place...he's put on substantial weight since then. He is tall, perhaps 14.2 or 14.3 hands but long and lanky.
