Mondy, let's try and remember rule #7 please.

7. Do not post anything negative about any horses, whether they are in a rescue or free. If you feel there is something wrong with the horse that should be addressed to any potential adopter/purchaser, send a PM to that person. Do NOT post it on the board as this could cause legal issues with APF.

We do not know anything about these horses. The current owner may have rescued them and is looking to find homes for them. Let's just work on finding homes.

I just saw this so missed whatever negative thing was said. The horses are located in Milton, FL, and it's my understanding from our local assistance organization that they belong to an elderly woman who can't care for them anymore. I don't know her and haven't seen the horses in person. I just hope that someone can help them out.

Anyone wanting details on these horses can contact me. I had personal work experience with each of the horses and their owner. You can also review some history of them on http://dream-chaser-ranch.com if the website is still available

Rusel, is this the place where you were a couple of years ago? I wondered...

Yes those are Sandra's mares...... Starr is a good mare but a little small for her size as her dam had her first foal at 20 mos of age and was bred back again as a 3 yr old which produced Starr... her dam Tequila did not have adequate time to grow herself before she was reproducing.... And yes that means she was acidentally bred as a 9 mo old, but then rebred less than 14 mos after foaling...

Mircle is a sweet heart... loads of handling as a youngster as Sandra spent tons of money on vets and massage therapy for this filly.. so she is used to lots of handling and would make a great pet.... never able to be ridden or bred due to rear end injury...

Stella I don't know as I was already gone from Milton.... but if she has either her dam's or her sire's body or disposition she should be well built and friendly. The sire is an extremely well porportioned older stallion that is hard to keep weight on due to age. Nice body, decent head, good disposition and produces foals better than himself.... do a DNA to confirm sire.... if form to function he usually produces largo with extended reach....

Get everything in writing..... even if it's free.....

Try giving a call to the phone number in the first post and see what the status is. I'm curious too.
