I just saw the strangest thing...

Sky, my SSH mare, was laying down in her stall just now when I went to let them out.. As I was getting Cita out, I heard the sound of peeing but neither Sky or Nutter were standing. Looked over into Sky's stall, and she was peeing while she was down! She was on her sternum, not totally flat out. I have never seen a healthy horse do that! Has anyone else?
She is a heavy urinator (sp?). Will pee sometimes twice in a 4 or so hour span. :confused:

She is perfectly normal otherwise, no sign of her feeling bad. Geez, I don't THINK she is pregnant! She isn't supposed to be!
I was talking to my cousin, and she had a mare that would do this too. Only hers would poo and pee while laying flat out. I am keeping my eye on her anyway. She is one of those mares that will pee in the stall and lay in it. Dirty girl.
