OK, I don't know what to think about this but there is apparently a lady in LA that has a Caesar bred cremello stallion that is going to the auction somewhere in MS today. I *think* the only one is Mize, MS, but not sure. It is a long and complicated story, but if anyone in the area may want to try and save this horse...I have no room, money or facility...give Lynn Hall a call for more particulars.

This is a grandson of my Ojos Azules de Dante. I would be interested to learn more.

I told Lynn to call you, but she figured you were too far away. I am sending you and Jenn private email with her # if you don't have it. She called me, but I know nothing about the particulars.

I have had many people email me telling me that they are interested in this stallion. I STRONGLY suggest that anyone interested please get in touch with Lynn Hall at 615-547-9221 if you want this stallion. I am way too far away to get that horse in the time allotted him.
I will tell you that I own his grandsire who is exceptional and produces very nice, nice babies. I will NOT endorce this stallion because I don't know him, but I do suggest you get on the ball and get him quickly as time is running out, if you're truly interested.
Sorry, Lynn, for posting your number but I think this is important to save this horse.

The PFHA lists it as Lynn's horse.

She must have sold it to the lady. Who didn't transfer.
All I know is what Lynn told me...

I'm telling you, anybody interested in the colt, get on the ball....this colt is double Coral LaCE on the mother's side. If this colt goes to slaughter it will be the loss of some fine bloodlines. Word is he sold yesterday for $20 at auction.
On the sire's side, Ceasar is the only two time cremello Grand National Champion, and son of my Ojos Azules de Dante. These lines go back to Bolero LaCE.
On the dam's side, double Coral LaCE if it is the colt I'm guessing it is. His name is Luminoso de Festiva. He is the only cremello colt produced by Ceasar shown registered by the PFHA.

Well, without divulging any names or incriminating information, I will tell you that the first owner, a breeder, did give me the names of the people involved and doing a little investigating of my own, I found the secretary of the sale barn, and it appears that this horse did not actually go through the auction but was pulled as a no sale. He is supposedly in the hands of the woman who took him to auction who has him for sale. She has realized what a find she has in this horse. I had also heard that someone from this forum was interested in the horse, but that is the last I've heard. And I will divulge no more information than that. Just know that reportedly the horse is fine, did not go to the killer's and I guess, is for sale somewhere, but I don't know how to get that information.
If someone from this board has purchased the horse, it would be great to hear that he is doing fine and has a new home, so that we can stop worrying about him. We'd love to hear about it.

Yes, I agree Carol, it would be nice to know he's with someone who'd do right by him. Nellie

Excuse me...I just posted a followup to this saga....and today I received further confirmation that the horse is still for sale only the price has gone up considerably. I also have photos of him.
If anyone is seriously interested, please contact me and I will send photos and the phone number of the woman who has the horse.
I will not go further with posting information on this board because this whole situation has turned out to be somewhat of a travesty...and I won't promote something like that.
As I said, if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested in this horse, email or pm me. He is NOT mine, I am NOT selling him...but I can offer information.
