BTW, beautiful horse, PasoPerson38. Absolutely gorgeous. Is he young and will grey ... or is that a real honest-to-gawd dapple grey? I love dapple grey! *drools on monitor*

Yes, take LOTS of pictures now...he'll turn white gradually, year after year.

(BTW Jane, judging by her size on the mare too, I'd guess Steph to be pretty small with a BIG step stool in her kitchen) ;-)

LOL. Jane. I think it's a bit of both. Chase is about the same size as my Tequila which is 14.3 (and maybe a tad more)
And I think Steph is pretty petite too. ;-) I guess T doesn't look as big next to my big boned self. :lol:

and Chase was born Chesnut and will white out totally in a couple of years. He is going through the dapple changes now.

He was bred by Cathy Starbuck...I have a filly (Rosier de Fe) from her. He must be out of her big grey mare that is super sweet. Congratulations....he's beautiful.

Carol, how did you know who bred him? I had no idea who bred :confused
What is the grey mare's name? Chase's mother's name is Dynastia.

I am a shrimp too, 5'1".. My storm is tall, but I cant be sure I think my tainer measured him at 14.3 hands.. CHico is 14hands even and phantom is 13.4hands...

I need a stool to get on my boys..lol Too hefty to get on from the ground, I try to save their backs w/teh stool..lol But on the trail they have to deal..lol

Steph, I'm not sure I remember her grey mare's name, she also has a grey stallion that he could be out of.

Her farm name is El Paso de Fe and all her horses get the "de Fe" tacked on the end. Here is her web site, www.pasodefe.com

I don't think she is the one who bred him. I am the one that put the "De Fe" at the end of his name. Chase is out of Monarca de Besilu.
